Toolwiz Time Freeze

Nothing bad can happen to your PC while Toolwiz Time Freeze is up and running. Modifications made to the settings will be undone, files downloaded from the web will be removed, and other unwanted changes will all be undone when you restart your PC. You could say that Toolwiz Time Freeze puts your PC on ice – it freezes everything so that no unwanted changes can be performed.

Toolwiz Time Freeze provides support for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions, any version from Windows XP all the way up to Windows 8.
To get the application up and running you will have to go through a standard installation procedure: download an installer (a 2.6Mb executable), run it, follow the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. Once the wizard is done installing the application, it will ask to restart your machine.

From top to bottom, you will see the following on the application’s interface: a panel to start/stop the Time Freeze mode (stopping it requires a restart); the option to automatically enable Time Freeze mode when Windows starts; the option to enable Folder Exclusion when Time Freeze mode is on; a list of files and folders that will be excluded; the option to password protect access to Toolwiz Time Freeze.

Toolwiz Time Freeze will automatically run at startup. Combine that with the option to automatically enable Time Freeze mode when Windows starts, and you won’t have to do anything. When your PC boots up, Toolwiz Time Freeze will launch automatically and the Time Freeze mode will be enabled automatically. This means that your system will be automatically protected from unwanted changes.

Toolwiz Time Freeze is freeware.
